This is my 1983 Dodge Stepside Truck. My youngest son bought this truck new and
drove it about 3 year. He traded it for a grand prix, and I bought it for myself.
It has been about 90% restored at this time and could easily be completed. It has the 318 engine that has been bored .0030 over, giving you all the power that anyone would want. The transmission has also been rebuilt. I personally re-worked the inside with new seat covers and carpet. The all around appearance inside and out is that of a new truck. This model (1983) was made with a new metal that Chysler came up with, it will not rust. the stepside dodge ram was also made in 1984, but as far as I know that was the last year that this style stepside was made.
